Lyme Regis Big Christmas Weekend

14th December 2024 - 15th December 2024

The inaugural Lyme Regis Big Christmas Weekend is set for Saturday, December 14, and Sunday, December 15, throughout the town.

Highlights include a Christmas Tree Festival in the Pine Hall at the Baptist Church, featuring beautifully decorated trees by local groups, businesses, and organizations.

Visitors can also enjoy Santa’s Grotto and a makers market outside the Millside restaurant at the Town Mill, showcasing local crafts.

Entertainment will be provided by the Lyme Morris group, performing at 2pm on Saturday along Broad Street. Local shops and eateries will offer special Christmas weekend deals, including discounts and free festive treats.

Additionally, there will be a best-dressed window competition judged by Mayor Cllr Phillip Evans, with the winner announced on Sunday evening.

The event is organized by the Lyme Regis Business Association, in collaboration with Love Lyme Regis, the town council, and the Lyme Regis Regatta and Carnival, with over 90 businesses participating. Don’t miss it!
