New round of grant funding set to benefit Dorset businesses

Following the success of the first two rounds of Dorset Council’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and Rural England Prosperity Fund (REPF) grants, the final round is now open. Businesses can apply for grants between £2,000 – £20,000, with eligible Start-ups able to apply for grants from £1,000 – £5,000.

New A35 roundabout for proposed North of Dorchester development

A new roundabout on the A35 east of Stinsford is part of the proposed plans for a major development in Dorchester. The link road connecting the A35 and A37 to the north of the town to relieve traffic on the Southern Bypass and on Dorchester’s High Street

Dorchester celebrates International Car-Free Day with their “Streets Alive!” event.

Dorchester hosts it’s “Streets Alive!” event, celebrating International Car-Free Day in Acland Road car park on Friday 22nd September 2023. There will be a festival with stalls, music, activities, and demonstrations in the car park from 12pm to 5pm.
