Culliford Road in Dorchester is set to close for targeted and localised repairs of the works from the Dorset Council Highways Maintenance Team.
As a result, the road will be closed between the hours of 9am and 4pm between Monday, February 16 to Thursday, February 19. The road will re-opened to traffic overnight.
A diversion route has been marked and will take motorists along Icen Way, Kings Road, the B3143 and the B3144. The diversion will remain in place for the full duration of the works.
National regulations state that traffic must be diverted onto roads with the same classification as the one that is closed.
Any concerns on these works can be made by contacting Dorset Highways by calling them on 01305 228100.
